Drilling Waste Management Perform Well in Singapore Field
Recently, TR independent R&D drilling waste management has received favorable evaluation from customer at the drilling site in Singapore. Feedback from customer said that TR skid-mounted drilling waste management performs well. It provides an effective solution for them to treat slurry and waste in the pit on their rig site. TR drying shaker
This drilling waste management chosen by our Singapore client is relatively simple. It is divided into two units-waste collection unit and liquid phase separation unit. Waste collection unit consists drying shaker, screw conveyor, mud collection tank, mud agitator etc. Its working principle is transferring the waste residue treated by shale shaker, desander, desilter and decanter centrifuge to the high-frequency drying shaker through screw conveyor. Big particle cuttings in solids control equipment are separated, and liquid enters collection tank for buffering and pretreatment. Liquid separation unit is mainly composed of a program-controlled diaphragm filter press. Solid phase particles are finally separated by a filter press. Separated solid phase can be directly transported. Liquid phase can be carried to the mud circulation system for reuse through mud sand pump.

TRCS300-2S Mud Desander Delivered to Vietnam
Mud Desander is solids control equipment with a set of desander cyclone to separate sand from drilling mud in drilling rigs. It is installed on top of the mud tank following the shale shaker and vacuum degasser but before desilter. On July.23th, TR finished the factory delivery inspection of one set TRCS300-2S desander that would deliver to a Vietnam client. Regarding the TRCS300-2S mud desander delivered, its handling capacity reaches up to 280m3/h. It consists of 2pcs 12” high chromium cyclones. Working pressure is 0.2~0.4Mpa. The separation point of our desander can be up to 45~75μm. This type of desander is without bottom shaker, it has compact design with small footprint. The solid control system is the equipment chosen according to the depth of drilling. From ZJ20 to ZJ90, In general, below ZJ30 drilling rig only requires 3 levels of solid control equipment, i.e., drilling fluid shale shaker, desander, desilter. Above ZJ30, it is five levels purification equipment. Mud shale shaker,vacuum degasser, desander,desilter, drilling liquid centrifuge. Among them, mud tank is indispensable. Common mud tank specifications are as follows:95000×2300×2100mm, 125000×2400×2300mm,The number of mud tanks is calculated according to the total volume of drilling mud, Choose the right quantity and size. How the mud cleaner works
Combine shale shaker with desander and desilter. After the drilling mud is processed by shale shaker, the solid particles become smaller and the content decreases. Further purification of drilling mud is required. Drilling mud is removed from the sand – sinking pump to the sand – removing cyclone by the slurry supply pump. Solid particles larger than 47 microns are mostly ejected and dropped onto the bottom of the sieve through the separation of the cyclone. Further sieving on the bottom sieve, and then it goes out of the tank. And the mud that enters the sand removal bin will be transported to the mud removal cyclone by the mud removal pump again. Most solid particles larger than 15 microns are expelled. Also filtered through the bottom sieve, most of the mud solids falling into the mud bin are less than 15 microns. Sufficient preparation was made for further disposal of the centrifuge.

The harm of gas penetrating drilling fluid
1. Reduce the density of drilling fluid. When the density of drilling fluid decreases, if the pressure of the net drilling fluid column in the well is lower than that of the formation, the wellbore surge or blowout may be caused.
2. The sand pump, infusion pump and drilling pump used in the solid control system are not well inhaled or even working properly, causing vibration of the equipment
3. Some of the toxic gas(Such as hydrogen sulfide) escaped drilling fluid, may cause site operators poisoning
4. It could start a fire
5. After gas penetration, the viscosity of drilling fluid increases and the mechanical drilling speed decreases.
